Friel Homes require an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist with a passion for heritage to work on bespoke residential newbuild and conversion projects.
The role offers the opportunity to express architectural skills in a friendly, busy environment and includes the following duties:
o Preparation of planning and working drawings.
o Developing specifications for new build, existing and listed buildings.
o Going on site visits, carrying out inspections and recording technical information.
o Communicating and working efficiently as part of a team.
Requirements:
o Ideally 10-15 years of experience, primarily in housing.
o Proficient at AutoCAD and Revit.
o Good knowledge of Building Regulations.
o Experience in NHBC or similar standards and warranties.
o Ability to prepare detailed working drawings and construction details.
o Driving Licence.
This role will likely evolve and offers career development opportunities.
You will be primarily based at our Lichfield office on Beacon Street with some travel to other sites as required. Our Lichfield office is a 10-minute walk from Lichfield City Centre train station.
Ideally clean driving licence. Package by negotiation.
